About Lynn

  • As a volunteer leader in Dallas for more than 30 years, Lynn has contributed over 50,000 hours of service across more than 30 nonprofit organizations, advancing solutions in education, workforce development, homelessness, public safety and opportunity for underserved communities.
  • As Chair of The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center, Lynn has helped expand shelter capacity, strengthen community partnerships and create recovery to housing pathways that connect hundreds of men and women to housing, job training and supportive services.
  • In 2022, Mayor Eric Johnson appointed Lynn to lead workforce development efforts for the City of Dallas, bringing together employers, colleges and workforce partners to close skills gaps and create economic opportunity.
  • A biochemistry graduate of The University of Texas, Lynn began her career at New England Biolabs as a research scientist and helped build strategic partnerships that fueled the company’s global growth. Today, she remains a manager and employee owner.
  • Lynn spent more than twelve years as CEO of Young Women’s Preparatory Network, growing revenues by 300%, expanding to 12 campuses and helping deliver a 100% college acceptance rate for graduates.
  • Over three decades, Lynn has worked with scientists, educators, civic leaders, parents and people in crisis. A native of Freeport, Texas, her commitment to service continues to guide her work strengthening Dallas.
